CCF Tea
Cumin Coriander Fennel
Ayurvedic Digestive Tea
Ingredients and How to Prepare
Method 1:
In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of each(or however much, as long as the proportions are equal) : Cumin seeds, and Coriander seeds, Fennel seeds
Then transfer this to a jar, or tupperware, and keep sealed in your pantry away from direct sunlight
To prepare the tea, take 1-2 Tbsp. of the CCF mixture (depending on how strong you can handle), and steep in 2 cups (500ml) of boiling water for 5-10 minutes. - please do not use your microwave!
Drink slowly and enjoy :)
Method 2: This method allows for us to utilize the whole seed without throwing any of it out. It will also have a more potent effect on the system because we are consuming the full seed.
Grind equal proportions of Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel in a spice grinder and transfer to a jar (with lid). Keep in pantry.
When preparing the tea, add 1 tsp. of the CCF mixture to 2 cups of boiling water (500ml). Let sit for 5-10 minutes and then drink.
Or you can also allow for the 1tsp. of mixture to steep in warm/room temperature water overnight (500ml), then warm in the morning and drink on empty stomach
